The rhythm of this poem reminded me of the rich fabric of life and how everything is connected. Danielle spoke about five negative experiences in her life, so I photographed five different pieces of cloth with light shining through them. I wanted to capture the positives that come out of perseverance in the hardest of times. As the light emerges from the dark, life goes on and we are stronger because of it.
