This was a very moving story about a legacy of love that spans generations. Passing on our stories and memories is more important than any material object or heirloom. They remind us of how similar we are to our family, no matter how many years separate us. We are collages of those that came before us. Messy, imperfect, beautiful and unique; but every scrap has meaning and tells a story. Those memories that get passed on become a part of us. In that way, the people we loved and lost are always with us.
